Babasaheb Ambedkar Charity Trust (R.) Harihara was established in 1979 and is an institution established to facilitate Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and other Backward Classes. It is a Primary, Higher Primary, Pre-University, Under-Graduate type of colleges and to educate students of all classes.

The organization is continuously organizing social activities such as health awareness programmes, educational programmes and self-help groups in Harihara(Tq). In addition, many cultural programmes have also been created in society.
